What We Do

Since its opening in 1989, Seton House has been serving the community in keeping with the vision and compassion of Brother Raymond Phillips. This caring individual sought to provide shelter for single mothers and their children in crisis. 35 years later Seton House continues to serve the most vulnerable members of our community.

Seton House opened in Casper, Wyoming on December 5, 1989, and the organization has grown from only three apartments used for emergency shelter to 22 fully-furnished single-family apartments, a learning center for children services as well as personal and professional development, a neighborhood food pantry, and two playgrounds. Today the mission is to support single-parent families as they strive toward independence and self-sufficiency.

None of this could have been possible without the substantial contributions of time, talent, and treasure from generous individuals and organizations of Casper and elsewhere in Wyoming.
